Vidu Q3 Pro

Vidu Q3 Pro is the quality-focused Q3 tier for polished motion, detailed frames, and controlled transitions between source images. MachGen supports text-to-video, image-to-video, and first-to-last-frame generation from 1 to 16 seconds at up to 1080p with optional generated audio. In Models, direct camera movement through the prompt; structured camera controls are available in Storyboard.

Workflow

Using Vidu Q3 Pro

  1. Choose a supported generation mode in Playground.
  2. Add the required prompt and source or reference assets.
  3. Select output settings from the controls shown for that mode.
  4. Generate, then inspect the returned asset before reusing the settings through the API.

Practical guidance

  • Describe the subject, action or composition, environment, and visual direction in a clear order.
  • For image animation, describe the intended motion and camera behavior instead of repeating what is already visible.
  • Use compatible start and end frames, then describe the transition between them.
  • When audio is enabled, include any dialogue, ambience, or sound cues that matter to the scene.

  • Text to video - prompt plus aspect ratio and output controls.
  • Image to video - animate one starting image with prompt-directed motion.
  • First and last frame - pin opening and closing compositions and let the model generate the transition.
  • Audio - enable generated audio when dialogue, effects, or ambience should ship with the picture.
Best results

How to get better Vidu Q3 Pro results

  • Describe the visual hierarchy first: primary subject, action, environment, then camera and lighting.
  • Use a source image with clean separation between subject and background when identity matters.
  • Avoid filling a long duration with many unrelated actions; describe a readable progression instead.
  • Use 1080p after the prompt and timing are stable, not as a substitute for a clear brief.
